DeConstrucción#3
DeConstruction#3 is characterized by the unpredictable, non-linear manipulation of bodies, time and space. Throughout the piece, bodies are fragmented, distorted and dislocated; time is stretched and contracted; the space within, between and around bodies is under constant examination. Immersed in an intense dialogue, the dancers establish a magnetism that keeps them unified along a journey through different facets of the same center. A center made of matter and humanity, plasticity and listening, capable of drawing poetry from abstraction.
This project was born out of a first encounter with choreographer Isabel López in the spring of 2016, titled EnConstrucción#3. Since then, the dancers have continued to explore the initial themes and material born out of that exchange, deconstructing the original choreography and reshaping it into a new piece.
