With the holiday season upon us, we are very excited to share the title of our latest piece, Prokaryotes!
This project was initially planned as an extension of with a bird walking side by side, our first project with Elena Demyanenko, but it quickly took on its own unique character and led us to a new territory for exploration. While the two pieces share similar themes and were built from the same work dynamic established during the creation of with a bird…, Prokaryotes distinguishes itself by starting from a more primordial root than its predecessor. This evolution reflects the growth and change we all experienced in the two years apart before reuniting this past summer.
Stay tuned for more details on an upcoming performance in Los Angeles on January 26th at Renaissance Arts Academy. Emma and Finn will be performing the updated version of DeConstrucción#3 for the first time in the United States.
